Harvada's Quilt top
Harvada is my dear friend who is one of the most courageous and optimistic people despite extreme trials. Her husband has advanced inoperable stage 4 cancer. I'll post more when I finish.
Yay Frankie's quilt is finished. I added to this quilt as part of a quilting bee at Margaret's Hope Chest
I didn't disappear!
I have been working on some secrets, two of which I wrapped for the girls before I took a picture. You'll see after Christmas.
Here are my latest quilts.

My computer is fixed, bring on the blog
I'm alive! I have a couple finished projects and some works in progress. Here they are:
This is my dear friend Emily's baby's dress, a little late considering she's six months old. My girlfreind Angie helped me make it. She taught me some cool stuff. She came up with her own pattern. She is such an awesome seamstress.
This is my oldest Nephew on my husbands side, Devin's blanket. He is 12 now and he is my facebook buddy. When we were visiting he said, "make me a quilt", ok :) I used all the old scraps left over from Spencer's blanket.
Super wrinkly hu? I love the houndstooth!
Here is a wall hanging quilt I wanted to try. I appliqued the star onto the fabric. It reminds me of the cool quilt I have from my great great grandma. This is for my friend Cissy from Uganda. I am going to miss her so much when we move in 4 months.
I just picked up some fat quarters I loved from this new shop in Madison The Sewcial Lounge. The owner is just darling and the fabrics are so great.
I picked up these three fun upholstery fabric from Joann and used the Amy Butler Pattern from This Book. I sewed in a zipper, two of them :) I was so scared. I conquered a zipper!!!!
Here is Jess's cozy blankie. Kate has the same one but with blue
I love these whales.
Here are the pages from my sister's kid's quiet book. It is there Christmas present...uh late. I'll post the cover when I'm finished.
sheesh! I LOVE my new sewing machine. One day I'll make something for myself. Next I'm off to conquer a dress with a pattern. Wish me luck.
